Happy Easter!

Hi everybody! I want to wish you all a happy Easter! Here’s a very beautiful Swedish Easter hymn for you to enjoy! (Sung in Finnish though) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rwRik_uMdkE The hymn tells about what pains Jesus went through during his final days and that He endured all that because of us. Enjoy!

Holy, Holy, Holy

I recorded today this old beautiful God-praising hymn tune with Spectrasonics Omnisphere… it’s such a great software synthesizer! Thank you Spectrasonics for your hard work in making such a wonderful software instrument! Here’s the link for the track: https://soundcloud.com/mikey-a/holy-holy-holy-played-with-omnisphere

An old melody by Burkhard Waldis

Played around with Spectrasonics Omnisphere and recorded this old hymn tune with it’s preset “Epic Solina Richness” 😀 Enjoy! Brass transcription

I transcribed a piece for two trumpets and trombone… a very beautiful German hymn from the 16th century, composed by Burkhard Waldis… This hymn is included in the hymnal book of the Finnish Lutheran Church in a little bit altered form, but I think the original one (which I transcribed here) is more beautiful… waldis.pdf

Another arrangement for strings

I made another arrangement for strings… an old beautiful Finnish hymn “Mun kanteleeni kauniimmin” (Once my kantele will play more beautifully in Heaven)… composed by Ms. Kreeta Haapasalo in the 1800s… A very, very beautiful tune in my opinion… I hope my arrangement brings justice for it… mun kanteleeni kauniimmin for strings.PDF
