Arranged “Nearer my God to Thee” for a string orchestra
After a long time I decided to arrange something little for a string orchestra… So, here’s my arrangement of Lowell Mason’s beautiful “Nearer my God to Thee”… I’d be glad if you offer me some constructive criticism…
Just a coincidence that I made this arrangement in the beginning of 2012 – it’s almost 100 years ago when the luxury cruiser RMS Titanic hit an iceberg and sank… I guess everybody knows the story about this beautiful hymn being played while the ship was sinking…
